Port
of Allyn
The Port of Allyn has taken an active part in economic development
in North Mason through participation in the Chamber of Commerce, Allyn
Community Association and Allyn & Belfair Planning efforts.
Future Port plans include a business or light industrial park north
of Belfair.
Tourism - The Port of Allyn supports the local tourism industry
by maintaining year-round recreational boating facilities with a
dock and two launch ramps. The Port also tends the waterfront park
and Kayak Park in Allyn on Case Inlet as well as a dock and launch
ramp on Hood Canal near Belfair State Park.
The Allyn Waterfront Park is busy all through the
year with local events. The beautiful waterfront setting and large
gazebo make it a favorite location for summer weddings. The Port
anticipates augmenting further development with such seasonal events
as a “Concerts in the park” series and possibly an annual
art show.
